Two steam generator sets for Kudankulam Units 3 and 4 will be produced by AEM’s subsidiary, AEM Technologies (a company from Rosatom’s nuclear engineering division). Workpieces for the steam generators were already delivered to the company’s production site in Volgodonsk, and workers started machining shell rings and large-sized nozzles. At present, the nozzles are being welded to the central shell rings. The steam generator shells will be assembled after they pass a quality test in the presence of a customer representative.
