“I was impressed to learn on the construction site that a single unit may have a lifespan of up to 90 years – 60 years according to the project plan and 30 years after the inspection, repair and modernization,” said Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, Bangladeshi Finance Minister, heading the delegation. “For 60 years, our country has lived with a dream of having its own nuclear power station. Our country and Russia have finally signed a memorandum of cooperation; preparations are underway to begin the construction.”
