Kudankulam loaded with fuel

Fresh nuclear fuel has been loaded into Unit 1 reactor at Kudankulam. Preventive maintenance of the reactor was completed right before the loading. Maintenance and fuel loading were assisted by the representatives of Rosatom’s engineering division ASE. According to Vladimir Saitiev, a manager of Indian projects, Unit 1 will be brought online after the loading and subsequent tests are completed.
