This year ROSATOM intends to establish a joint venture with Indonesia in frames of the project on setting up a commercial-scale irradiation center where foodstuff will be conserved and medical items sterilized using ionizing radiation. Besides, it is planned to start pre-project works related to this center. Agreements of intention will be signed with potential clients of the sterilization services who would ensure the center’s workload at minimum 30-50% of its installed capacity. The project financing pattern will be defined.
