ROSATOM’s machine engineering company ZiO-Podolsk sent the first steam generator for Unit 3 of Tianwan NPP. Before the end of this year the company will sent the entire set of steam generators (4 items) to China. The steam generator shells were manufactured by the Izhorskiye Zavody, part of the OMZ group. The steam generator PGV-1000M is designed for thermal power of 753 MW; its service life is 40 years.
