Shipment for Kozloduy

On 28 October 2016, Elektrosila (a subsidiary of Power Machines) dispatched a new stator and rotor for the turbine generator, as well as other components to be used as part of the power uprate at Kozloduy Unit 5 to 104%. The improved stator will be installed in TVV-1000-4U3 generator to function at the maximum rated capacity of 1,100 MW. An articulated railcar was used to transport the 359-ton, out-of-gage stator from the manufacturing site to the sea port in St.Petersburg.
