According to ITER Agreements, NIKIET designs and tests full-size prototype components of the fusion reactor, and manufactures bearing structures for the first wall and blanket module connectors. The institute is in the process of piloting the manufacturing technology and testing the first wall panels and module connectors. The production equipment has been launched to produce the first prototypes.
