The International Uranium Enrichment Center (IUEC) expects to sign an agreement with Ukraine in the spring of 2016 for the deliveries of uranium to Russia, IUEC CEO Alexei Lebedev said. Ukraine ships uranium to Russia for enrichment and subsequent fabrication of nuclear fuel for the Ukrainian nuclear power plants. TVEL Fuel Company is a major nuclear fuel supplier to Ukraine. “At present, we are negotiating technical aspects of the agreement”, Lebedev said.
