Michel Debes, Head of International Relations, EDF Engineering and Generation Division, said: “We see that the construction of Leningrad NPP-2 moves on at a good pace. This is the reason why we want to study positive practices of implementing VVER-1200 projects on time and with the quality required. We are very much interested in passive safety features added as part of this project, particularly the core catcher and the emergency core cooling system.”
