At a meeting held in late May, NIKIET Director Yuri Dragunov and Igor Golutvin, CIS Director of the LHC CMS project at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland) made a decision that NIKIET would develop a new HCAL design based on the expertise gained in the CMS detector operation, and present the design to CERN in late August – early September 2015.
